BLAST! and BOSS

Calene and I saw BLAST! today, and it was amazing. I'm still fangirling over it. It was probably a good thing that we weren't able to get seats right next to each other as the people around us would have gotten annoyed at our fangirling and squeeing. And the best part was that they had a Japanese drummer as part of the group, and he was one of the soloists during my favorite song in the whole show, Battery Battle, which is basically a huge showcase for all of the percussion. I love the duel they have between the two snare drum players. Here's a video of the song (though sadly they don't duel in it):

I also finished BOSS today. I watched episode 10 on the train (and amazingly enough did not miss my stops, though it was a close call a couple of times...), and I was totally gasping at the ending of that episode and hoping the people around me weren't paying attention. I waited until I was home before watching the last episode, and it was so good. I'm definitely going to be doing a rewatch when I'm back in America, and I might make my mother watch it with me, too. I love how the characters evolve through the drama and have definitely become a team by the end of the drama. I think my favorite scene was at the beginning of episode 9 when the head lady is attempting to figure out the eating habits of her underlings. Her puzzlement is great.

blast!, boss, jdrama, *squee*
