i have to fart. i am so super sexy, i can't even handle it.
anyways, me and brian halloween are no more. i ended it. things were much too complicated.
the roomies got back right before new years, much to my relief. i was seriously getting so depressed being by myself for so long. this makes me rethink whether or not i will be able to live on my own. anyways, partying on new years eve/day was fun. bevvy made us a delicious dinner of pesto pasta, asparagus, and pecan cookies, then we started drinking at 8:30 pm. we left my place around 9:45 to go to no malice palace near my apartment. going to a local bar was perhaps one of the best ideas we've ever had. the weather outside was shitty- rainy and snowy. it would have been awful trying to get a cab. the bar was fun...no new years eve kiss from a guy though...only the girls!
right after leaving the apartment. i was already trashed.

rough night.
it's funny because we were looking through the pics from new years the next morning while we were all hungover. over 200 pics were taken before midnight showing us all in various stages of drunkenness. mine were by far the worst though. towards the end, i could barely keep my eyelids open.
bevvy, chrissi, and i went to see "up in the air" the other night at union square. good movie, but depressing. saturday night, we went to bowery electric bar, where we were the only asians/minorities there. i soon found out why though as the only music they played was old school rock. it was fun dancing to it tho...it's been a while since i'd heard a lot of that music. plus, it's fun to watch white people dance.
so, i had been wanting to commemorate my time in NYC and decided to get a tattoo. we headed to east side ink, which is around the corner from my apartment. i got "live with intention" tattooed to the back of my neck in sanskrit. chrissi got "conciousness, awareness" in tibetan on her upper right torso. i really like mine and i feel like it definitely will help me remember to just live my life the way i want to live it. i did it when i moved out here to NYC and i will hopefully continue to do so in the future.
the roomies have decided to do a month-to-month lease through march. i'm glad they finally decided, but now they have to find someone to fill my room through then. that means random strangers will be traipsing through my apartment and room at all hours. yippee. i'm worried about getting my deposit back in full and getting paid out for the cost of all our shared stuff. i asked for $120 back, which i think is more than fair. plus, i told them i'm taking the stuff i brought to the apartment back with me....it's not much, but they are essentials: the huge mirror in the entryway, the towel rack, brita, swiffer...all necessities!!
anyways, the one boss who is here and not on vacation is getting on my last freakin nerve. gotta go...busy busy day!
