I'm coloring my hair, trying to do highlights, and it looks. horrible. I had it professionally done a couple months ago, and I just wanted to touch it up, and UGH.

I have to go to work soon. With patchy hair.

ETA: Problem mostly fixed. And just in time. It's not as pretty as the professional dye job, but it's not the disaster it was

Dude, I so feel your pain. A few months back, I put this drug store dye in my hair, and yesterday I wanted to go blonde, and I ended up looking like Cindy Lauper (white roots, orange ends), and then she put another blonde dye in my hair, and that didn't work, and then she put a moka-caramel thing and that worked, but my head? in PAIN.

Just do like me and go the Lex Luthor route. Solves a LOT of problems.
