I have a vid question for you.
Yes, yes, more vid talk. That's all I seem to be capable of lately. But I need the opinion of someone outside of my head. This video that I'm working on, it's an O.C. vid (and it's making me less wary of O.C. fannish issues as I rediscover the love), and it's kind of... brutal. It's a vid about Seth wanting his world off pause, but it's very much a video about the intolerance of homosexuality---specifically, the intolerance of the undercurrents between Seth and Ryan (inspired by one of Adam Brody's more recent interviews, which was good for Seth/Ryan, but also... kind of bugged me). The working title is Spin, and it suits the video, but it lacks the punch of the narrative.
I would like to use the title Fag. Or Queer. But that's... I'm not sure that's acceptable or not. I'm a little too blurry from ripping this video out of my head, and I can't wrap my mind around what the audience response would be, if they would find it too harsh. Then again, it feels right. I'm just not out to scare anyone away, or offend anyone. Since I'm bisexual, you'd think I would have figured out what's okay and not okay by now, but I'm also bisexual in rural Vermont---yeah, not much exposure. It doesn't offend *me*, but I'm not very sensitive about my sexuality.
So, your opinion? Yes? No?
I'd just like to get a feel for your reaction before I make my decision.
ALSO, would someone familiar with the O.C. and with an adequate knowledge of vids or vidding care to beta the first draft for me?
