So, Rodney Mckay in faded, thready jeans, bare feet and a simple white t-shirt appears to be the hottest image to ever appear in my head. EVER. It won't go away. I'm going to need a bucket of ice cold water to douse my head in pretty soon.

And I rented the second season of Nip/Tuck. Which leaves me with one huge question: why the fuck isn't there more Sean/Christian slash on the net? I mean, honestly, that *is* the slashiest non-openly homosexual relationship that I have ever witnessed on television. I mean, I see the chemistry in other relationships, I see the text and the canon for them, but I have never seen it be so... daring---and I don't just mean is a sexually provoctative way. (Not to say that Sean/Christian is my new favorite pairing, but they give me a little hope about the future of television in its portrayal of the conflicts and joys of same sex relationships, whether that means friendship or romantic or both)

It sometimes makes me uncomfortable, actually, because it's the kind of show that is all about the discomfort, and I feel every bit of their terribly "conjoined", intimate, but 'not quite' relationship. And it *hurts* me. YIKES, but that show is good, in a way that I almost don't like it. If that makes sense. I mean, Christian is a complete whore with a heart of gold, and Sean is out to save the world and pretty hypocritical, and they shouldn't be so close, but they're MAD about each other. Like a highly complicated, adult and not so pretty version of Cory and Shawn, from Boy Meets World. I'd be interested in finding out if this show is very popular with a male audience, because it deals with a lot of issues most men I've met find... tender... to say the least.
