a bit of true life, a bit of fan life
I've had no time to be on-line this past week, which means I'm running late on vidbites. I'll work on that tonight when I get home tonight. I've been on the road a lot, writing fanfiction in my notebook as I go. I find I actually prefer writing it like that now, then transferring it to WordPerfect on the PC after. I really look at what I've written that way, and see where I can go with it, and what else I could do with what I already have. Just a note.
Two new things:
1) My hair is now brown. Because the blue faded to something like gray, green, and a color that doesn't exist in nature. It wasn't pretty, people, I'm telling you. Holy water was necessary to correct the problem. I quite like being a brunette though, and I haven't been one in a while, so it's a nice change.
2) A new job. Whee..... except not. I hate working. But what brings in the cash is where I'm at. And apparently that's in front of a cash register, being hit on by old drunk guys. Blah. I start Wednesday. Man, I'm HORRIBLE at store work. Someone save me from myself.
I've started my countdown for the HP book 6. I hadn't let myself until it was only a month away. In fact, I've been keeping far away from the HP fandom, because it's going to suck me in like a giant blackhole when the time comes. Hopefully by then I'll still vid for other fandoms. But I doubt I'll write in them. So I better finish up those fics pretty soon, or else they'll be left swaying with all the rest.
