Yesterday, I discovered hot tea again. Yes, yes, I know, I'm horribly American, but I haven't drank much but cold tea for a long time, and last night I went out to eat with some friends, and mmmm, had hot tea, with just a little dab of sugar, and it was delicious, a religious experience, I'm telling you.
I'm going to cut back on coffee and drink more hot tea.

I think I'm going through another one of those funks again. The 'I suck at this, I suck at that' kind of funks, that we all seem to go through like clockwork.
Hopefully I'll kick it soon, because I hate when I get like this, because I know I love to do things like write, and vid, and that achieving skill in any kind of medium takes time and effort, and I certainly can't get that sitting around whining about how badly I suck. Besides, it's not completely true. I'm certainly not brilliant at what I do, I'm not Tolkien yet by any standards, but I feel when I'm writing and vidding... that's something.
--- enough of that, shake it off, who cares, as long as I keep doing it, producing, furthering myself.
I find that when I get like this, and this might be good advice for others, it helps to set a small goal to reach within a reasonable time frame. For example, this week I want to settle down and finish my Sentinel vid. Also, in RL, I want to submit applications to the three places I want to get a job at, rearrange my space in the closet, and go to the movies with my friends.
That should get me out of my funk like nothing else. Reaching goals and spending time with the people I love usually does.

I missed Boy Meets World this weekend. But I've decided I'm going to order the season three DVD, however weird that is. I admit, it's not the best show, and it suffered from the TGIF disease, but it has Cory and it has Shawn, and there relationship is solid and cool and intense like whoa. I keep saying it, but I can't help it, it's TRUE.
Cory had two loves in that show: Topanga and Shawn.
Out of the two, Shawn got way more screen time with Cory.
