Why should we hire you?   (I hate that question!  Obviously cause I need the damn job!  lol)

Well, when you called me for the interview, I researched your company via the internet, and I must say I am very impressed with your company, I feel that by using my organizational and problem solving skills I could be a great asset to your company.   My main focus is to get the job done in a timely, courteous and efficient manner.   I believe keeping myself prepared through excellent organization and quick problem solving skills is the key to a well run, stress free office.

Why do you want to work here?

Well, I worked for cardiovascular lab for x years at ...Hospital, and during my time there I gained allot of experience working with clients who needed heart testing, I feel that I can easily use that experience with your company, and thereby assist the community by providing excellent customer service to patients who are here for an MRI.  Most patients I’m sure are terrified of taking this test.  As an office manager I would observe and insist on my co-workers to show empathy towards the patients, ease their worries and perhaps lesson a bit of their anxiety as they await their test.   This is something I did as part of my duties when I worked in the Cardiovascular Lab.

What are your greatest weaknesses?  (That question always confuses me, and I think I wind up sounding arrogant when I try to answer it.)

Co workers that hang on the phone all day with personal calls while pretending to be busy when the supervisor comes around, I like to stay busy.  I love multi tasking and would prefer to pass my day by working to meet a deadline.  I call this a weakness because it tends to bother those who are pretending to be busy, and impoliteness by co workers.  I strive to give excellent service to everyone, whether they are a co worker or a customer or my superior, and I tend to expect the same courtesy in return by fellow co-workers, unfortunately, not every office worker has this attitude.
Describe a problem situation and how you solved it.   (Really very, very many instances....I could write a book!)
When I began working for the Cardiovascular Lab at ...I noticed that the clients were called on as they signed in, irregardless of the time of their appointment.  The doctors would get screamed at by patients because they wound up waiting 2, even 3 hours when it turned out the patient arrived on time for their appointment.  Using the Excel program, I developed an organized sign in sheet which gave each patient their own “time slot” Immediately the doctors were no longer being screamed at by their waiting patients, and the end result was a much calmer waiting room.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?   (sigh...surviving my silent teen years,  my raging twenties, and my so boring 30's...lol)

Working for ...Hospital, and for the Lawyers office enabled me to multi-task and problem solve simultaneously.  I love the fact that I am able to take a seemingly “hectic” moment in the office, and by using a soft tone in my voice, and a smile.  I am able to solve the situation quickly by using my Excel program and other organizational tools.   Because of this skill I have attained  I am able to thrive under pressure.
Anyhow, wish me luck...light a candle...etc....

It's gonna be a long weekend.  :(

Laterz.
