More happy-making things.
Twitter is having a strange effect on my LJ posting habits. When I finally decided to join T, I figured that it would be a good outlet for all those random thoughts in my brain that I probably wouldn't post here because I like my LJ to at least *pretend* to be semi-substantial. (Of course, I fail at that much of the time!) Trouble is, I'm discovering that once I come over here to post, I don't have anything interesting to say! Then again, that's been the case for several months, and I've only had T for a week and a half. ;)
In lieu of anything substantial, I guess I'll do a list of things making me happy right now.
-- Checked my bank account, and I have a bit more money than I thought I did, though that's not saying much (especially since I found out the other day that my pay is going down next school year, thanks to budget cuts. Damn.)
-- I've started walking a bit more. Not as much as I should, but at least it's something. I don't want another plantar fasciitis flareup in the fall.
-- The February Lady Sweater is coming along FAST. With a bit of luck, I should be done by the end of the weekend. That's ten days total! And I might just have enough yarn to make it to my waistline, which was a concern because I had no idea exactly how much was in that remnants bag.
-- I want to feel guilty about getting such a kick out of Real Housewives of New Jersey, but I can't help it. (A "one-hour director's cut"? Ha!)
-- Katee Sackhoff is really lovely in the photos from Bear McCreary's concert last weekend. And there's also a clip on YouTube, though all you see is her back at the piano.
-- I also love this interview with Kristen Schaal, along with a clip of her surreal and funny new web series.
-- Summer break! (Even if it doesn't feel much like a break since I'm teaching this week. ;)
