"I knew the game was fixed."

I was having such a lovely day, but now I've discovered that my cellphone is missing. Drat. Here's hoping I accidentally dropped it at work, and that it'll be waiting for me when I get there tomorrow.

Time for this week's installment of I Watch Bionic Woman So You Don't Have To. Won't be posting clips on DailyMotion or YouTube anymore, because it looks like the bigshots are watching those sites. Alas. So, we're sticking with .avis. I figured out how to create one .avi of all the scenes together, rather than uploading multiple small files. It's choppy, but hey. If you're only in it for Katee, this'll do the trick.

BW - Katee - 104.avi (31mb): SendSpace and RapidShare.

A few notes about the episode:

-- They really are front-loading all the Sarah stuff, aren't they? Surprising, since Katee said she's only contracted for 7-8 episodes. I have a feeling the producers realize that she's the best damn thing the show's got going -- and I'm not just saying that as a fan; nearly all the press has said that she should be the lead. I really am starting to suspect that if the show makes it to a second season, the producers are planning to somehow get rid of Jaime and move Sarah into the starring role. Katee has said that she'll be a regular next season if it goes that far; contracts are the only thing keeping her labeled as a guest. Of course, the show has to make it that far, and the rumor mill isn't making me all that optimistic.

-- Katee toned it down a notch this week. As much as I love her, she was getting a bit too close to mustache-twirling. ;) I also got a kick out of how they dressed her in a Colonial Fleet gray tank top... yet didn't take away her truly magnificent bra. The opening poker scene was very Kara-ish. Still, anything that means more Katee (or quasi-Kara) on my screen is always a good thing.

-- The interrogation scene with her and Ruth was odd. Half of it had clunky, silly dialogue, but then there were also bits that actually sounded like two real people speaking... which is rare with this show. ;) I like Ruth. I also like Jae, though I'm not sure what the hell to make of his relationship with Sarah. I'm discovering that I probably shouldn't think too much with this show.

-- Herc... I mean Nathan... is one of the few non-Sarah bright spots. I still wish he could go back down to Dillon, Texas, and give Jason Street some bionic legs. Then again, that might not necessarily be a good thing!

-- Did anything else happen in this episode? I can't remember. Oh, wait, something about Jaime and lying and jump drives and terrorists in Paraguay. Whatever. Also, did Berkut forget about the bionic GPS? And I'll admit I kinda like seeing Isaiah Washington get his ass kicked over and over. ;)

And now I'm going to watch Dirty Sexy Money and attempt to write. I've been excited about so many fic ideas in the past week (especially the WIP and a few short one-offs), but my brain shuts down when I open up Word. *sigh*
