I think this calls for a happy dance, don't you? The article also says that NBC is picking up Eick's Bionic Woman remake, which would leave me feeling "meh" except for how half the BSG cast apparently shows up in the pilot. ;)
While I'm on the subject of FNL, here's an mp3 for y'all: "Remember Me As a Time of Day", by Explosions in the Sky. Beautiful, beautiful instrumental song, which is great background music while you're writing or cleaning house or whatever. You'll probably recognize it from how they played it at least four times in the pilot, plus dozens of other times since then. I also snagged the title for my recent BSG fic. :)
Tonight's rant: I drove halfway across town to get some elastic and thread for a knitting project -- thank you SO much, Hancocks, for not having any stores near me -- only to find that they close at 8pm. Grr! That's always such a pain in the ass, especially since most shops stay open until 9. I was impressed the other day by the Georgia DMV, which has shifted its operating hours to Tuesday-Saturday 8:30-5. The clerks don't have to work extra hours, and it gives people who work during the week a chance to go by on Saturdays.
A conversation this afternoon made me think I might have to "recalibrate" my LJ, for lack of a better term. Not quite sure what this means, but I'll be giving it some thought. Until then, I'm off to watch Ugly Betty and The Office, then maybe some celebratory FNL!
