On the way home from work, I noticed that the trees have suddenly exploded into gorgeous fall colors. Of course I had to do a mini-picspam. ;) All photos are from just outside my front door.

( My favorite time of the year! )

When I moved here back in '99, I spent my whole first autumn here shouting, "Omigod, it's the Anti-Houston!" (And I'd lived in The Heights, which was a pretty area -- at least, in Houston terms. ;)

Yes, Houston has two colors... brown and green.. I took a little road trip begining of October up north, everything was just turning colors and it was so nice, I didn't even mind seeing it mile after mile for 4 days.. LOL

South Florida too. I call the colors "green and dead"... but brown & green, same diff.

Ha! I was born and raised in Dallas, which wasn't much into the color-changing thing. But since I've moved here, I can't imagine living somewhere without *seasons*.

Beautiful!!! I love autumn colors!!!!

... gaaah! Here after a couple of cold and rainy weeks, today temperatures went crazy and we had 86ºF eeeck!

Hee! Yeah, we had temperatures in the '50s last week. It was FABULOUS. But today's high was 78. *sigh*
