Starbuck takes no prisoners. She's strong, vulnerable, and kick ass. Almost as good as my favorite female character of all time (Aeryn sun from Farscape.) And more importantly, she's not stick thin.

Yes! Really, the character is just SO complex that I can't possibly summarize her in a paragraph, much less a master's thesis. Plus, she's pretty damn hot. Like you said, one of my favorite things about her is that she's in no way "the babe". She has a very realistic body (though a bit too thin since S1), and I love that Katee isn't afraid to look, well, bad in service to the role -- no makeup, messy hair, and so on. Whee!
