Alright so I'm so obsessed that I actually spent my lunch hour writing. And even though none of you know the characters or the fandom I'm still posting it anyway. I'm totally smitten over here, guys. I haven't felt so invested in a pairing in a long time. Especially a new one

YAY! I was kind of hoping you'd read it anyway, even though you don't know the characters. ;)

So glad you liked it! Especially because, to be completely honest, I feel like this is the first little snippet of fanfic I've ever written that I just feel is 100% perfect. After reading the book, this is exactly, completely what I wanted to read. I've never really achieved that yet. After writing this bit I've probably read it again about 20 times! And it still kills me every time!

I totally wish I could transfer all of the info about them into your head, haha. I just feel so differently about these two then I think I've ever felt before. Maybe because Jin is actually gay, so him having feelings for Vincent could be true!

I just feel like typing up all of their scenes in the book for you to read. Let me know if you want me to spoil you so you can learn more about them. ;)

I just have so many other things I want to be reading as well and it sounds like this one is much like Game of Thrones -- some PARTS of it totally up my alley and YAY, but overall just not worth the time. Which isn't to put down the books at all but I've just got so little brainspace for anything that I'm not at least 90% obsessed over that I don't read or watch things in which the stuff I like are in the minority. Buffy's the only exception right now because it's light entertainment easy to watch on the side while doing something else, but I couldn't do that with a book. XD

Ooh you know what I'd love? It would be fantastic if I got you into doing liveblogging through the book! I was reading up on a couple of liveblogging/meta posts in a fandom I know 0% anything about and it's mad fun, and gives great review & insight into the book and the characters. I don't know how that would actually, you know, work, with a book, but yeah. Just saying! :)

Oooh, sounds like something I could do for you. I'll pretty much stick to scenes with them though, since you don't really need to know about too many others. I could always write you a basic overview of everything, and then just go into specifics and write out special scenes from the book for you with Vincent and Nijinsky!

Oh and one super interesting fact about Vincent I never mentioned? He has anhedonia, which basically limits a person's ability to feel pleasure. There's still need and desire present, but no pleasure is ever taken from them. It just makes him SO interesting! Really opens a lot of possibilities for his character.

I just can't wait to write all of it out for you! Makes me wish I wasn't going out tonight and tomorrow. >.< I'll manage some things for you though. ;)

Mmmmmmm that's really fascinating, about Vincent's anhedonia! Quite... interesting, actually. Makes me curious as to how the hell it's treated in the book. XD
