Thomas is back home!!! He's doing very well, although he's still a bit wobbly on his back legs. I expect a bit of excersice will help sort that though, as he's been not been very active for the last few weeks. It's not stopping him trying to climb things though!
He's got lots of shaved parts, mainly his scalp, which has a large fold across the middle of it, making him look rather like a Klingon with staples. It doesn't appear to be bothering him too much though. Medicene though, that's bothering him! He really doesn't like taking the stuff, and spits it out everywhere! We're going to have to work on this...
But he looks the brightest and bounciest we've seen him for AGES! The neurologist said that cats sometimes come through this more like they were years before, and this does look to be the case. Just this morning he tried to attack my feet through the duvet whilst making noises at me - something he used to do every night but probably hasn't done for about 2 years!
I'm so happy to have him back home again. A week ago we though it was his last day on Earth, and now he's back to the bouncy hyperactive thing he used to be!
Thanks for all your kind words and support through all this. It really is appreciated.
