A Swingin' Good Time
Last time: G2 spouse, Cicada by wooden_badger, continued to work her way up the Journalism career track. While doing so, she maxed her charisma skill and her film/literature enthusiasm which completed 2 of the G2.5 goals. Celder joined the Music career track to pursue his LTW, and all the kids had birthdays of course! Oh, and new baby Ralter was born.
This time, Cicada and Celder will try to finish up the G2 & G2.5 goals. The kids will grow up and move to college! This is the last update of Generation 2!

The Floosby house is a rather busy place. Somebody is always skilling, or training toddlers, or smustling. Celder makes sure to train all of his children on his golf putting career reward. Can you say, scholarships all around?!
There's also always somebody getting a promotion. Since Celder is a married man now and can't go around romancing all the women-folk, he has to climb the career ladder the old fashioned way.
All of his promotions from both career tracks over the years finally made Celder get the achievement of making $50,000. That officially finishes the G2 goals. Now we just need Cicada to top Journalism and we'll be done with G2.5 also.
Baby Ralter had his first birthday. At this time I was still really lacking in neon hair-do's, so poor Ralter has to have one that really doesn't go with his face. Oh well, still a cutie pie.
And thus begins the toddler training once more. Ralter learns all his skills and the nursery rhyme. Thank god for smart milk.
Another promotion for Celder.
And Cicada snags a promotion for herself thanks to a lucky chance card.
And because Celder never likes to be shown up, he brings home yet another promotion.
He also brought home some gray hairs! Celder became an elder and looks so much like his daddy Ois (by maranatah).
The kids were still around during all these promotions...I promise! They kept up with their homework for the most part and spent lots of time skilling. On a side note, I still haven't seen Lailys smile!
Where's the friggin' butler?! That man is good for nothing, I tell you. He's probably downstairs setting the stove on fire while poor Ralter is upstairs trapped in his crib and surrounded by flies and poop.
Celder needed one more friend at the last minute to reach the top of the Music track. So I set Cicada to work on befriending Knox Rivers, by stonell. She wants to remind me that she's a married woman and I better not have her flirt her way to friendship with this guy. No, it doesn't matter how cute he is. Too bad, Celder needs a friend pronto because he comes home from work soon.
And after much flirting and a little kissing, Cicada makes Knox her friend and Celder comes home as a Rock God. He's so happy to have achieved his LTW! Go Celder, and way to take one for the team Cicada. It's such hard work flirting with an extremely handsome guy.
I was so excited about Celder reaching his LTW, that I completely missed Ralter's birthday. Oh well, at least Knox went up to celebrate with him.
Ralter had just a day or two to play with his older siblings, twins Dexel and Palia. They became teens right after.
But first, she smiles! I finally caught Lailys smiling. I swear she's the most unexpressive sim I've ever played. But she sure is pretty.
Anyway, back to the twins. Birthday time!

And here they are in teenhood. Still super cute. Dexel looks so much like Celder it isn't even funny. Palia is totally unique and I'm still so in love. Dexel chose Fortune/Popularity and wants to become a Criminal Mastermind. Palia chose Pleasure/Family and wants to become a Celebrity Chef like her Aunt Vesper.
Cicada was still trucking along in her Journalism career. I swear it took her forever to work her way up this career.
Meanwhile, the kids have fun with all the musical equipment that Celder has. Here is Lailys rocking out on the guitar career reward.
And here's our adorable Palia trying her hand at a little poetry. I love the faces she makes!
Sigh, keep going Cicada, you're almost there!
The teens work on their homework every night, but Dexel started falling behind for some reason. I think I lost his homework for a day or two, and then all of a sudden it appeared.
Ralter does get some attention every once in awhile. But not often, poor little guy! Also, he's a champion rope jumper. That's all the boy ever does.
Only a couple more to go!
One night, the butler set a fire on the stove and then promptly went home for the evening. It became a huge fire and the fireman couldn't get in because everybody was blocking the front door. You can see visitors Hornet Pollen (in the yellow shirt, by wooden_badger) and Alfie Bleu (in the pink pants, by rhiannon_alexis) helping to block the doorway. I was finally able to get the household sims to get out of the way long enough for the fireman to get in and save the day. I swear that butler is intentionally trying to kill my family!
The kids started getting a little pudgy around the mid-section, so it was off to the gym for them!

Birthday time for Ralter, our poor neglected Floosby.
And here he is with a slightly better haircut for his face. And we can finally see that he inherited Celder's big ears. Hurray! Ralter chose Knowledge/Family, but his LTW hasn't shown up yet.
Four teenagers living under one roof. If this were TS3 there would be pranks and mood swings going on all over the place! Poor Celder and Cicada!
Finally! Cicada topped the Journalism career track and got a spiffy new carpool. And with this promotion we have completed all of the Generation 2 and 2.5 goals. Woopie!
Unfortunately, that also means we're at the end of generation 2. Cicada joined her husband in elderhood. She was a whole 12 days younger than Celder, since he spent the first half of his adulthood working on his business career. Next up, we'll have an heir poll to see who will become the G3 heir/ess!
