Spares Update, part 1
Celder Floosby, the G2 Heir, is one or two days away from becoming an elder so I thought this would be a good time to have a spares update! I like to keep some sort of continuity in my game, so it's time to play the spares through their adult life. Join me as we catch up with G2 spares, Vesper and Wylla. In part 2 we'll see what plantsim Hemlock has been up to back at the Floosby farm. But for now, here's Vesper and Wylla!

Vesper wasted no time in calling up her old college flame, Brotius by laschifosavita, and resuming their little romance. It quickly turned into a big romance and a big wedding. Vesper made a beautiful bride and got big hugs from her elderly parents, Ahryl and Ois. (Ois Nenemos by maranatah)
Brother and sister-in-law of the bride, Celder and Cicada Floosby (by wooden_badger), discuss how much they want to have another baby. Nevermind the fact that they already have 4 kids and Celder is a day away from becoming an elder. But Cicada still has some time, so who knows!
While Vesper resumed her college romance, Wylla had to go out and find someone to love. She didn't get any loving in college, but she found her soulmate one day while she was out and about town. His name is Nive Spyros and he's made by the lovely simsforaranya. Nive gave Wylla her first kiss, and well...her first everything as you will see.
They had a beautiful evening wedding with no lights other than the silvery light of the moon.
Wylla is a family sim, so ACR took over really quick and the newlyweds started trying for a baby right away.
Needless to say, they were successful right away as well. Wylla and Nive Spyros welcomed a baby boy who looks just like his daddy but with his mommy's eyes. They named him Mettius.
As soon as baby Mettius was born, Wylla and Nive literally went right upstairs and tried for another baby. ACR's doing, not mine! Another baby is well on the way before the first baby even has his first birthday!
Baby Mettius had his first birthday and became cuteness personified. He looks a lot like Nive.
Meanwhile, Vesper and Brotius were still happy newlyweds enjoying their honeymoon period. They were both too focused on their careers to worry about having kids yet. Vesper got a job in the Culinary track for her LTW, and Brotius found one in the Slacker track for his.
Brotius had a lot of work to do on his skilling, unfortunately his mechanical skill was a little too low to fix the computer! Vesper had fun with the candy machine from the cooking career.
They did finally find some time to get pregnant though!
Wylla soon had her second child, another boy named Tidius. I was fascinated with the -ius suffix apparently. Tidius looks just like his older brother; all Nive except for Wylla's eyes.
Not too long later, Vesper gave birth to her first child. Yet another boy, this time named Xron. He's all Brotius, except for his hair which I later found out.
It was around this time that the G2 twins achieved their LTWs by reaching the top of their chosen careers. Wylla became the Education Minister and Vesper became a Celebrity Chef.
Wylla's boys had a birthday and look very much alike. Mettius is the older one, Tidius the younger. They're not clones because they have different personalities, but they sure look like they are!
Vesper's boy, Xron, had his first birthday and is so adorable with those big green eyes and delicious ears!
Wylla and Nive got pregnant once more and finally had a baby girl. They named her Feirlsi (even I don't know how to pronounce it). She's the only one of their 3 kids that got Nive's eyes, and she's also the only one to get Wylla's purple hair.
Fast forwarding here because I want to fit their two families into just one update! Wylla's boys had another birthday. They're looking more and more like Nive every day.
Vesper's son, Xron, had a birthday too. At this time I thought he had yellow hair, but I found out when he became a teen that I was mistaken. So you'll see him again as a teen in just a minute...with his true hair color.
The spouses of the G2 spares achieved their LTWs as well. Brotius topped the Slacker career and became a Professional Party Guest. Nive topped the Journalism career and became a Media Magnate. It was at this point that I wish I had let a spare take over the G2.5 goals, because now I've got to do this all over again with Cicada! Ugh.
Another baby is on the way for Vesper and Brotius! <3 pregnant Vesper.
Another boy. What is it with these two spares and all their boys? This one's name is Zarick. Also, I guess the yellow skintone which came from the G1 spouse has disappeared this generation. All the G2 kids got it, but so far none of the 9 G3 kids have inherited it.
Here's a teenaged Xron, oldest son of Vesper and Brotius. It turns out that he inherited white hair from a sim named Macbeth (by mjspice) who was Ahryl's father in my Pollination Exploration challenge. So Xron got his white hair from his great-grandpa.
And here's little Zarick, Vesper and Brotius' second child. He truly does have Vesper's yellow hair.
So that's it for what became of Vesper and Wylla, generation 2 spares. I'm not plaing their children after this, but I will probably age them all to adult and offer them for download. But first, I have a Spares Update part 2 in the works. We'll visit Hemlock who is living back with Ahryl and Ois at the old Floosby farm, and see what he's done with his life. I'll also do some group shots of the family before Ahryl and Ois kick the bucket. I think it'd be nice to have some family portraits to keep in the family for the next 13 generations! Stay tuned!
