You talk to people who self-reinforce your beliefs

I can't help being particularly irritated when people who hold strong views (the strength of the view I don't believe in, even if I may concede that aspects of the view are reasonable) go and find other people who hold equally strong views of the same alignment just so that they can go and exchange angry self-righteous vitrol at each other.

Especially if I have no choice but to hear it.

People should stop spreading their poison near me. It just makes me resent them more and more.
