It has pointed out to me that I have been rather, uncharacteristically withdrawn lately. You must forgive me, dear City; Autumn prepares it when I give her my undivided attention whilst greeting her. Besides, I find it is a lovely time to reflect with oneself, ne~ Nonetheless, there is so much of that required and it is past time to return to ( Read more... )

I do not believe wishes are so easily granted.

Of course they are not; they require a fair exchange. That is the price.

And I with nothing to give that would not insult my wish.

Ara~ is that so? It is rare that I meet someone who truly holds his wish in such high regard, odd as that may sound. Your name?

That is truly unfortunate.

Gibert G.P. Guilford, personal knight of Second Princess Cornelia li Britannia.

Indeed. Nevertheless, if all men were as astute as you, I would be rather out of a business.

It's a pleasure, Guilford-san.

I merely recognize that something as easily attainable is not worth wishing for, when it can be had.

An Eleven, are you, Madame?

Ah~ but sometimes, there are truly those wishes one cannot attain with one's own powers alone.

Hmmn~?

And in those cases, for something so wanting... what can one begin to give.

What indeed.

In that case, yes.

There is nothing. If one even gives all of himself, then he is left with naught to enjoy his wish.

I see. Your status, here, Japanese, is so very different.

[ooc; also I just can't stop loling that Clamp made him look so like Clow ;;]

Not necessarily. It all depends on the nature of the wish... as well as the wish-maker.

[ooc: XDD! Yes, well, they only seem to have so many designs >>]

One would have to be selfless, to wish for something knowing they must give up everything for.

Everything is a rather strong word. All that is required is the price be equal and fair, to ensure that balance is kept.

All wishes are, by their nature, selfish to a degree, but the willingness to sacrifice something of equal significance to gain one's wish is a mark of something above and beyond as well.
