Life's a Roller Coaster
Living Room is tan now.
Ceilings downstairs are painted.
School is hard.
Work is harder.
Went to an ADHD support group meeting today before picking nightwolfwriter at his new office. They were discussing Time Management, but with a group of ADD/ADHD folks the topics wandered widely. ;-) I started going to these meetings for my daughter's benefit, but I get a lot out of them for myself too.
Had a short class session this evening. The off weeks in my computer forensics class have been used as supplemental lectures for the labs. I think I've gotten a lot out of them. They also let us watch the instructor walk through the steps and we've uncovered a couple of problems. Much better than discovering them while working individually. :-D
Commenced setting up my bookkeeping software and entering January transactions in it. I got behind this last year, so in the end I decided to skip trying to backfill and started new with January. I consider it something of a personal victory that I got the information in before the month completely got away. ;-) *bows*
Speaking of the end of the month, I have an IEP (Individual Education Plan) meeting at my daughter's school on the 31st. Ick. I can think of many things I'd rather do. Oh, well. At least nightwolfwriter will be able to attend. I know we're supposed to live in a society where such things don't matter, but I've noticed the school staff seems to sit up and take more notice when the father is in attendance.
Ah, well. Time to call it a night. *looks outside* Yep. It's night. ;-)
