Glutton for Punishment
nightwolfwriter and I went to Parent/Teacher meetings for the daughter unit today.
And then we took all four cats to the vet for their annual check ups and shots.
Jimmy in particular was not amused. He really trash talks the veterinary staff. Sometimes I'm very grateful I don't understand 'cat.' ;-) Crookshanks and Marmalade got into their own brand of mischief. Crooky wouldn't stay still for his shots, and Marmalade jumped up onto the top of the exam room cabinets.
Sam the original 'fraidy cat was actually the best behaved.
The contractor also e-mailed. Our door and window finally came in so I think they're finally going to get back to work on the basement. Supposedly they're going to do the cutout and start installing doors and windows. And kitchens. After Thanksgiving there is going to be a regular flurry of activity around here.
