Social Networking

I started a Facebook page at the suggestion of my sister in law.

After I finished setting up the account, Facebook very helpfully raided my contacts and said, "Hey, look! All these people you've e-mailed are on Facebook! Want to friend them?"

I didn't take all of its suggestions but I did take some. I've spend a fair bit of time poking around tonight. I've found old high school buddies, family members, pictures of some grand-nieces and nephews I've never met (*sigh*) folks I know from the local area, and or course, folks from the Internet. (Or is that Interwebz now?) :-)

Some people have really changed, others not so much. I've seen some familiar names (especially from my graduating classes) that I haven't bothered to ask to be friended by because really I'm not sure they'll remember me. :-p I wasn't exactly the world's most social butterfly in high school and college. ;-)

I posted some photos of the jewelry I've made, but nothing really personal. I took the stuff outside today (the sun was actually out--yay!) and got some decent pictures. I can't take inside shots. The lighting in my house is abysmal. I'll either have to continue taking pictures in the yard or invest in a light source.

Didn't quite finish the laundry, but I did at least get the last load in the dryer. Now it's sleepy time. I left work early last week when my daughter forgot her key, so I need to make up some hours. That means I have to get up and go to work for a while tomorrow.

Deep Joy.

(Not) ;-)

You know, just taking the time off is looking vastly appealing right about now.

Oh, well. It's just a few hours. Night!
