yes the sky is very blue. i'm looking out the window as i write this and thinking maybe i should go do my AP studying outside because it's so nice. or maybe i will finish my book. i don't know yet...
auditions for good news are saturday and sunday! I do think I'm ready, though, or at least I know i'll be ready for saturday. I'm singing Cain't Say No from Oklahoma!. it's pretty easy to give it character, so i think i might have a shot. My mom was working on it last night with me and said i sounded good, and i was like good enough for a part? good and she said yeah, if it were me (directing...which she has done before so she knows what's good and what's not) i would definately say you could handle a part. If I get stuck in chorus doing chorus stuff again I do think I'm going to be slightly mad. Although a lot of fun, it gets old after you've done it a few times...though I must admit the reporter bit in bye bye birdie was pretty good. I think the production staff is a little byused but then again they all are i suppose. i just want something fun, something more exciting than chorus, something where i'd get a little more attention and where i could show what i can really do rather than just a three-line speaking cameo-- "Is it true that you're sending Conrad Birdie to reform school?"
Anyways, it's kinda chilly in here. I'm gonna take my stuff and go outside....and hopefully come back in a little tanner than what i went out with....
