Thanks to my friend Carolyn, I had the opportunity of having a bird over break. He got to stay in my room...I think his name is Polly, or Paulie. I let iTunes play different songs and here are the reactions from Birdie:
Celtic Bagpipes - The Wedding Jig
Where the chirping began
Panic! At The Disco - Camisado
He likes it. in the words of Ben: "another fan found!"
Streetlight Manifesto -
Terrified: Loss of appetite
Smashing Pumkins - Rat In A Cage
Causes him to become fluffy and vocal
Sev - All These Dreams
Regained appetite
Semisonic - Closing Time
Too busy eating for a reaction....He really likes the interludes and piano: he provides excellent harmony.
Seventh Day Slumber - Caroline
no comment
The Boondock Saints - Celtic Fiddle Fest
Still eating and fluttering betwixt food, pirch, and mirror.
Pedro The Lion - Lullaby
I got bored and switched the song before any reaction could be recorded
Daft Punk - Robot Rock
Gleefull chirping mixed with some buzzing kind of squak. He's sitting attentively on his wooden dowl pirch i put in today and making lots of chirps.
Motion City Soundrack - Everthing Is Alright
Sister entered room and started fiddling with cage and food...Results may be compromized
Nickel Creek - Sweet Afton
Frequent eyelid closing...may be very calm and relaxed.
Damien Rice - Cannonball
I'm starting to fall asleep...next song
Less Than Jake - Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts
Birdie appears content with music and 2 humans in the room.
Jimmy Eat World - Futures
Another winner in the birdie book....gleeful chirping
Phudys - Alt Wie Ein Baum '99
Rattling mirror, mouthing words...and a little chirping:::back to the food dish
