Don't you look away
I know it's nice out and I tried to enjoy a little walk earlier. Nice day, good mood. I had talked to Elijah for about a half hour earlier this afternoon and caught up with what's been happening since he's been out of the navy. It was a good talk and he said he'd stop by to visit sometime in the near future.
Keeping myself busy and not spending nearly enough time with Karen and Cate. It seems as if all my "strong" friendships from the past year or two have all pretty much fallen apart, and yet the bond I feel with them two is stronger than ever, even without seeming much of them for the two years we've been out of school. Cate and I have been friends for about 14 years now, and Karen, about 13. Incredible.
College. I'm finally going to go. That is, if I ever get the application sent to me and get accepted. I've really got my heart set on Umass Dartmouth, not just because Karens going there, but just to get away and start learning in someplace new where I don't know anyone. I don't have anything stressing me out today, although it hasn't been the best of days. I think it's the cool air. I made instant rice earlier and put some kind of cheese dip I found in the fridge in it. It was actually pretty good =]
Anyway. I've got a new drawing that I've started. I'm going to go work on that some more.
