[A gunshot sounds into the air and a flicker of pink cascades the eyes. Lelouch is in this dream, not that anyone would know it at first. He's still in his Zero attire, staring in horror at the scene unfold in front of him. But he's being restrained by guards. The dream itself blurs slightly... [It's like a nightmare, a bloody massacre, that's exactly what it is. He's standing in the stadium, looking on with a slightly disturbed expression. Wars he was used to, killings he was used to, but ruthless, seemingly unnecessary murder? There was no way so many people deserved to be killed so cruelly. They were being gunned down by... machines he's sure Komui could find some way to make useful, yeah; he'd give them a less bloody purpose.

What was this? The future? Another world's future? His world's future?

"Kill the Japanese!Lavi turns, seeing one of the murderous contraptions aiming its gun at him. Eye widening, he reaches for his Innocence, but the shots are fired in an instant, and much quicker than the guns he's used to. [ the mother and child falling down, their last breathes do not go unnoticed. it's like Lelouch is suddenly standing right there, as if he had been behind Lavi from the start. he recognizes the voice if anything. the question he asks is far too much. this is a burden... a burden that Lelouch is going to carry from this life to the next. "his cross" if he remembers how he worded is that day. ]

A nightmare.

[ Lelouch has on his mask at the moment, but that could easily change. dream or nightmare... this is going to leave him with more psychological damage for the next few days. ]

[Lavi blinks; how long had that guy been standing there? Who was he? What was he wearing? Could he see him? ...Well, he had responded to his question, so that was probably a yes.]

Is it real? Is this... really happening?

[He stops himself, looking left and right, then back at the stranger, his single, uncovered eye narrowing. As a precaution, he pulls his hammer from its holster.]

Do you have anything to do with this?

It happened, not that it's any business of yours.

[ there is now another Knightmare Frame in the sky. it demolishes the others that had been in its path... then it seems to make an announcement. with Lelouch's voice. ]

[Back to somewhat glaring at the figure in front of him. Could this be Lelouch? Where was Euphemia? And just who was receiving the orders to kill whoever "she" was? What was going on?]

Zero is not a merely a person. Zero is a symbol of justice not only to the Japanese, but to any tyrant of our world. Wherever there is injustice being done, Zero will be there to stop it.

It's a dream. Dreams bend can shift to the whims of the dreamer, subconsciously or no.

[ and he doesn't intend on answering. he's actually turning away from the scene. things are starting to build up inside of him. emotions he'd rather not display. ]

I suggest leaving.

[ and with Lelouch having a gun at his side. she seems so happy, so cheerful. yet her dress is stained, torn. a gun in her arms. now it's Lelouch looking over to Lavi. tired, violet eyes. face is a little red, obviously from crying and tears that still need to be shed. ]

[ and all it takes is a shot. from Lelouch's gun. and Euphemia falling, two giant robotic hands catching her fall. but the damage is still done. ]
