Sadly, "ridiculous" is the norm around here. At least when it's not just plain bad.

At least the bad can be dealt with properly.

... I'm not so sure about that. Not here.

One can always prepare for the worst. The more ridiculous or ludicrous the situation is, the less one can be ready for it. There usually are far too many variables to be adequately ready.

I'll admit that there's a lot of leeway with ridiculous things, but these deities get pretty creative with the bad ones, too. Besides, I'll take ridicule over serious danger any day, if given the choice.

(OOC: ... is cursed, btw.)

I prefer to maintain what dignity and pride I can, thank you very much.

((ooc: That's fine.~))

That's fine with me, as long as you don't do it at the cost of others. Personally, I prefer to preserve my life, and that of those dear to me.

As death doesn't seem to be a permanent state, does that not belittle the value of life?

Not really. They say that once you die here, you stay here. Forever. I don't want that. I realize others may feel differently, but for me, returning home is important.

Now that is something I can't argue with: the need to return.

Ah, so you agree in that respect. There are some that don't really want to return at all.

I can understand the sentiment. If it were not for pressing matters at home, I wouldn't care to return. Or perhaps allowing me to finish them before bringing me here?

Really? I don't know... the prospect of never returning home again is kinda freaky.

I don't wish to give up, however.

Oh, we can agree on that, too. Definitely.
