[Unfortunately for Kuja, and by extension unfortunately for Xiao Long Nu, the now re-powered angel of death is ALSO deep in the forest. He chooses to express this displeasure by swooping in the sound's direction, hovering about six inches off the ground, and announces his arrival with a circular burst of flame that sets several of the nearby trees on fire - but not directly at Xiao Long Nu, not yet, just leaving a clear, scorched patch of ground between him and the girl.]
