Soup is on

I've been up since 7am.  The soup is done, will just be simmering now.  I almost completely forgot about work this morning.  DAMNIT.  If I leave now, I might be able to get done around 1pm.  Hopefully.  It won't take long to bake the cornbread or the pork chops, maybe an hour combined, but probably less then that.  Need to shower though, badly.

Your food posts are making me hungry! Seriously the soup sounds wonderful. I love this time of year, with nummy soups simmering all day and night. I need to get started on mine again too. I got lazy this summer and didn't cook much.
