Works for me - wizardry channelled into a particular physical skillset or a "mutant" power can explain a lot of the characters in most superhero universes.

That's what I was thinking when I wrote this; could be a fun concept to play with in other areas.

I don't have any real concrete ideas for more yet, but it would sure be interesting to toss Dresden himself into this univese ....

Some people just have a knack for finding patterns, I guess? And most of them apparently end up in other careers than scriptwriting .... =) Glad you enjoyed the result!

Absolutely fantastic. I love how you weave mythologies together in your crossovers.

Thank you! Some of the credit as always has to go to my prompters, though, who give me the excuse to think sideways about things. =)

I missed this gem the first go around. A fun concept and interesting character study. I think I'm partial to the last bit about Natasha keeping her secrets partially to add to her own legend.

I was really baffled by the prompt at first. But I'd recently read Cold Days, and some things cross-sparked in my mind, and there it suddenly was: worldbuildy awesome Natasha. :) Glad you enjoyed the fic!
