after i started listening to overseas music. i stopped listening to american music. i prefer that music over american. i do listen to american also. but only some. lol! i just recently started to watch korean dramas. and i LOVE them. though i don't mind what type they are. as long as the dramas are good i am hooked!

Oh, Texas? :) One of my best friends on lj lives in TX. I've been finding out recently that a LOT of people on lj that live in the US live there lol. I have yet to meet anyone online who lives less than a few states away from me. >:

Korean dramas~~ do you want any recommendations? Before I started going back to school, they were my LIFE. I did nothing but watch them, so I've seen plenty. I don't really have the time now, so I only watch them over the summers.
yes Texas. lol! i have yet to find a lot of people from Texas. its funny that you met many of them. i actually have befriended one here on lj and actually met up! :) its really great to meet people from where you live and from any other state. hopefully your luck changes and you are able to find people people that are somewhat close to you! :)

I've had the opportunity to meet a few people, but I never followed through. :/ I could've met a bunch of them at the jyj showcase in NY, but I was so rushed to get there that I didn't have time to figure out who all was going. And then, a few people were going to be passing through the state and we could've met up, but it just wouldn't have worked out. I'm hoping to be able to meet one of my friends from Texas some day though lol. She's pretty awesome.
And yeah, it's great making friends on this site. I have to say that I have friends in every part of the world because of lj. Kpop brings people together~ ♥
My break is actually over on Monday, so.. :/ It started the day before Christmas Eve. So short.. -dies- D:
But anyway. Korean dramas!! One drama that you HAVE to watch if you haven't seen yet is Boys Over Flowers. I don't care what you've heard, it's amazing. It's actually pretty bad lol. Very cliche, ridiculous, and.. dramatic. But it's my favorite. I don't even know why. Then there's You're Beautiful, which is also very amazing. Coffee Prince is probably my second favorite drama for sooooo many different reasons. It's for an older audience imo, so it doesn't have as much 'fun' as dramas like BOF and YB, but I love it all the same. Beethoven's Virus is the same way, but I love it too. Of courseeee I'm biased, but I really suggest you watch Sungkyunkwan Scandal!! I love Yoochun, haha. His acting wasn't that great towards the beginning, but it got better by the end. The same with Heading to the Ground-- but that one wasn't as good. Playful Kiss absolutely amazing, also, so watch that one. :3 It was a remake of It Started With a Kiss (which was the first drama I ever saw). Full House is REALLY old, but it's also really great. Rain stars in it. ♥ My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox is wonderful.. Personal Taste (also called Personal Preference) is very good. It's funny.
Those are a few.. my favorites out of the Korean dramas that I've seen. There are also a bunch of Korean movies that I'd recommend to you-- but I'll wait 'till you ask for them lol. I'm sure you've probably seen some of those dramas anyway.
