It is lovely to want to put the ac on in my room.
I love this weather, and am so grateful for it.
after being cooped up in the hospital for a great amount of time, I have learned to appreciate nice weather.
I don't understand why this happens, but for some reason I always end up in the hospital when the nice weather starts.
my mother says I have a hard time with transitions; perhaps that's why?
So friday night I became very sick and ended up in Melrose-Wakefield hospital, (just outside of boston)
I just got out of there today. It was a very long stay, but I'm glad I stayed for as long as I did, I really needed to recover.
This had to be one of the most painful experiences. My entire body was aching all of the 4 days!
However, I ended up using my time wisely; chanting and reading the gosho when I could; really lifted my life condition.
Fran came to see me, along with a few other family members. It really cheered me up to have her there though.
I wrote a lot, and read a lot.
I'm now reading The Secret Life of Bee's by Sue Monk Kidd. It's a very easy read, but for some reason it's been difficult to get through. A nurse told me it's because I have "hospital head" She's probably right.
