So, I went to New York. It was pretty awesome. And crowded, and rainy, and the subways were damn near impossible to navigate, but I got matching t-shirts for the whole family. Now we can start a family band--we just need accessories made out of curtains and an added "von" to our surname.
We hit the major landmarks: Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Times Square, etc. We got some culture, mostly in the form of Chinese takeout and Bollywood movies. And Mariam is just about as cool as friends can come, so there's that.
And now, back in reality, I start training at the Limited tomorrow, those idiots from the temp agency cannot figure out why they know me, but they keep calling anyway. And weirdness abounds. What can I say, except that Terry O'Quinn was robbed by whoever gives out the Emmys. I'll just blame the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, 'cause they do the Oscars and that will have to do. And, oh yeah, "were" made the name too many characters, so I had to make a judgement call.
