aloha!

so. from talking to stacey last night i think i came to understand a small bit about my situation. i always come to north carolina with high expectations because it's meant a sense of home and comfort and belonging that was never really afforded to me in high school. i try to recover that every time i come up here, always forgetting that it has more to do with the people here and my mindset at the time. alas. so if i chill out about this then it's fine. i used a lot of gas, which sucks, and i messed up my shoulder quite a lot from all the driving, and there's a good chance i'll miss the new years party. but when it comes down to it, i got to see a new town and hung out with a nice family in nice house with my sister, and new years is just a party. and there will be others. even if there's no other opportunity to wear my milf dress.

i'm debating whether to pick up matt from athens. it would mean our trip would take 12 hours instead of 9, and he said i'm under no obligation and i know he can take care of himself.

there is a good chance i will be moving out of my house to split $250 rent on a two bedroom house downtown (literally right next door to roger!) with stacey. um. i'm a little bit excited.

i'm hatching a plan to make money next semester: how does a knitting class for kids sound? $25 per kid, 4 or 5 kids per teacher, $100 for two hours 'work'? i like it. you in, b?

alright. well, time to get back to my book. and when scottie wakes up i'll be off to explore durham, which is a nice little town. ooooh, the picture from this trip are gonna be ridiculous. ta ta!
