Apartment Hunting.
Dan and I went apartment hunting the other day. We're getting our tax returns and are looking to get out of his parents basement. We found a really great deal! A one bedroom one bathroom for $450. It's so cute and we both love it. I'm really hoping we'll get it. It's perfect for the two of us. We'll even be able to have a kitten at no extra charge, it's the best deal we've found. Finding apartments are exciting. Now I've been looking for stuff we'll need. Dishes, silverware, glasses, appliances, a couch, another TV. It's expensive, but exciting and I can't wait to get a place in town, all to our selves. Where we can just be, no worries about being too loud, we can shower whenever we want, only worry about washing our own dishes, we wont have to listen to their loud ass TV at night, we can walk around naked, cell phone service, in town so we're close to everything :) Friends can come over anytime. I'll save so much money on gas cause I can cut 22 miles off every trip I take into town, or to go to work. I'll save town. The only downside is I'll have to spend more money on rent, utilities and extras. But I think it's well worth it and it's not the first time I've had all these bills.
Which is why I'm glad I finally got my second job. Just incase serving doesn't pick up anytime soon I have an actual paycheck to fall back on. And I've already done the math, there's no way I wont be able to afford this place! We go to fill out applications today. Hopefully we get it. If not there are a few other good deals we found that we'll look at, but we're waiting till we find out about this place. There are some other places as well that we'd only be interested in if our friends wanted to move with us. We found a really great deal for a 3 bedroom 2 bath that would be super cheap with 2 other roommates. :)
After we get everything settled with the apartment and a new kitty cat, I'll worry about the dentist. I'm just going to call him and tell him, I don't want any cavities filled right now, maybe in the future, but right now all I want is for the space in my teeth to be fixed. End of story. If he refuses to do just that, then I'll find a dentist that will. Who knows, maybe it'll be cheaper.
Other than all of that, Dan and I have been really great. We haven't had any fights in a long time actually, and we get in little disagreements here and there but it's nothing, we just vent and apologize. It's really good :) He's a really great boyfriend. I just need to be a little bit better of a girlfriend and I think everything will be perfect, well as close as you can get to perfect. No one's perfect and everyone fights once and a while, you can't help it. You grow up raised differently, you pick up different habits, or different ways of doing things and you have to change a little to get along with someone else. That's how it works, you have to make room for them, change a little and they have to do the same. You can't just stay exactly the way you are and expect everything to go peachy. He's changed a lot for me, and I've changed a lot for him, but it's only been a year so there are still little kinks here and there that we need to work out. But we're a great couple and we only get better the longer we're together. :)
Well I have to leave to go fill out an application and get some stuff with the love of my life. I'll write tomorrow after my first shift at Schlotzkys.
