Went to Turkey Run yesterday, Dan had the day off, so I got to spend a little time with him. Incase I never said anything Dan works a lot. He lay's down electrical wiring for plantations and stuff like that he works 7 day's a week, 10 hours a day, and he has an hour drive there and back from work so really 12 hours a day, and he never get's a day off accept on Holiday, such as Easter. I'm not a religious person, neither is Dan. I believe in God and all, but I don't follow.
Dan and I went to Turkey Run and it was so beautiful out, I took some amazing pictures. It was nice to just be out there and be with him, he made it all the more beautiful. His beauty puts nature to shame. He's so, I can't even put it in words, the way he enjoys nature and how confident he is with himself, how his eyes lite up when he seen where we were, how much he enjoyed being out there...It made the place that much more magical.
Dan had never been to Turkey Run before, for those of you who've never heard of it, it's a national park, I think. You just go there and there are trials you can walk through, there's rock ledges everywhere, water falls, dirt, trees, a river, it's all so beautiful. If you type in Turkey Run Indiana at Google then you can see pictures and know what I mean. It's incredible. Especially living in the world we do today where beauty is being destroyed and nature is frowned upon.
I wish we had so many more places like that, in our back yard.
Nature is the most beautiful thing on this planet.
