Cosplay progress
OMG! 2 posts in 1 day??? Is the world ending?!?!
Anyway, this year, I'm planning to coaply for all 4 days of Comic Con. I'm kind of nervous, especially since I'm not really done with my costumes yet. But I thought I'd post some pics and see what everyone here thinks!
Okay, I call this costume "Plain Clothes Harley Quin." It's what she's wearing when she's first introduced in Gotham City Sirens. My sister will be wearing a Poison Ivy costume the same day. :)
The only thing I'm really missing from my Harley costume is the red/black diamond knee socks, but I've already ordered those, and they should be arriving any day now.
This is one of Cassie's costumes from the Young Justice series. I pretty much decided to do this costume because it's fairly easy. I have absolutely no sewing skills, so everything has to be a simple matter of alteration. I painted on the =W= and the stars on the pants.
The only thing I'm missing is the stars on the right side of the pants. I can paint those on fast enough.
I love Steph. And I loved that she was Robin, even if it was only for about 2 seconds. I would love to do her Batgirl costume, but...no. That's waaay to hard. This costume isn't great. But I really love it for some reason.
I've already ordered my green gloves and my R patch, so I just need to put the yellow...things on the front of the dress. And I need a mask. I'm kind of freaking out, because I can't find any domino masks that cut about the nose. Any suggestions?
