Week 14
Everything is still going well with the baby. We had another ultrasound appointment this past Thursday. The baby was wiggling around like crazy. The doctor says everything looks great. I am feeling fine no major complaints. I have a lot of tension/pain in my upper back and shoulders and I am still a bit tired at times but most of the times I don't even feel pregnant.
I have gestational diabetes so I have to take insulin at night and check my blood sugar levels four times a day. It is a big pain in the ass and I am hoping it goes away after the birth. I have been eating healthier and Dan and I go walking for at least an hour almost every night.
We made a few baby purchases. We got a rocking chair from IKEA for when I am feeding the baby. We also purchased this cute set of board books in Dutch that are all about traveling. It has books on trains,planes, boats, Europe, U.S.A, and a few more. Our most recent baby purchase we made today when we were in Haarlem. Its baby's first outfit:
It is a set, there is another one behind it that has a pattern of cows, Dutch flag, Dutch boy, girl, and Made in Holland. It was only €4.99!
