First, thanks for the translation. :D

About your question now, I may not be the best to answer because I knew the original series before watching the myu, so there was a lot of stuff I could understand thanks to the anime, and for the rest, I was biased re:actors. >_> On the other hand, I had to show the musical to persons who never watched a single myu, and they all said that Airmyu was not interesting and that they prefered Tenimyu or Burimyu. >_>;;; Good luck with your friend anyway. ^^

(If you want more opinions, you can post your question on ag_myu too. ^_^)

heh, I know what you mean. I think I was the same way when I first watched it... but I guess there wouldn't be many people who would watch it raw who didn't know anything about it, huh?

Did the friends who hadn't watched any myus know PoT or Bleach before watching the myus? (btw, which ones did you show them? were they subbed?) I brought a friend who had no interest in myus to the second Airmyu, and she liked it a lot, but she's Japanese and could understand everything that was going on...

lol, I keep forgetting that these are separate comms XD;;

I know people who watched the myu without knowing the series. ^^ But that's all because of the actors.

Hmm... The guys did know PoT and Bleach, so they knew the characters and the story. (I think I showed Hyoutei in Winter and the Bankai Show, not subbed.) But yeah, if you explain to your friend the story and who are the characters, she may enjoy it anyway. ^__^

Sounds like if I explain the general idea of Air Gear, the boys' antics should make up for the rest XD

btw, which did you like better, the first one or the remix?

My favorite is definitively the first one. *nodnod* Mostly because I was there, and I feel like something is missing in the remix -even if it's good too-.

Me, too~ I was just surprised to see the other two who replied to this so far say they liked the second one better. I liked parts of that better, too, but overall, I thought the first one was a lot tighter story-wise, which kind of went all over the place when they finally got some space to skate around in. But I couldn't tell if it was just cos I was biased towards the first one because I sat a lot closer for it ^^;

Well, the actors in the remix all seemed really excited. ^__^;;; It seemed more of a big game rather than a show. Ryuji and Kousuke have to be admired for their switching roles, and I like the remix for the fun, but yeah, the first one was tidier. XD
