Happy New Year, and the start of Blue Sheets~
So much for keeping up with all the blogs ^^; I had some time on the plane coming back to Japan, so here are a lot of entries, just from about a week and a half before the show. I think I'm missing some, cos the RSS feed stopped there, but I should have most of them. If there are any I'm missing that you'd like me to translate, let me know in the comments~

Yuya - 2008/01/08 - The performances for Blue Sheets start tomorrow
It's finally tomorrow, the real thing for Blue Sheets.
In twelve hours, I'll wake up, brush my teeth, and go to the theater.
It's strange, but right now, I don't get the bad image I usually get before the actual performance. Saying there's absolutely none would be a lie, but this time, I get more of a good image and nervousness.
This feeling definitely comes from the RUN&GUN team, I think.
If you think about it, RUN&GUN's history is long, huh.
We've been working together since we were kids.

Since we finally had a day off today, I went with my mom to the shrine for a late first visit of the year~(^-^)
When I got this picture taken, I told my mom "I'm posting this on my blog," and she stepped back about thirty centimeters from where she was standing next to me....
Given that perspective, I wasn't in a very good mood when I took the picture *laugh*
My fortune was "good fortune."
I was a little disappointed, since I usually get "great fortune."
But, this just means I should aim higher and higher!
Between the rabbit and the turtle, I'm a turtle. This year, like the turtle, I'll work hard steadily.

Because today is a day off, I went to the clinic, cleaned my room, and will go to the hair dresser's soon.
I know I said I wouldn't cut it before, but I thought I'd better cut it a little.
'cause~ it'll turn into a "mushroom cut."
After I get a hair cut, I always want to go get a massage. I always feel like it.
But I was thinking of going to the bathhouse, but I was torn between whether I should go or not...
I can't decide.
I'm really indecisive.
Ah, starting tomorrow, I'll probably be posting from my cell phone again.
Eh, somehow, it seems like I've been all over the place, everyone.

Today, we are done with rehearsals. All that's left is to go to Kinokuniya Hall and
try it out.
Because we finished early, we went out drinking with everyone for the first time since the start of rehearsals.
I wasn't planning to drink that much, but with all the energy around me, I ended up drinking more than I'd planned.
Aw man.
Somehow, it's become an entry that's hard to decode.

After the first run-through, as my nervousness was getting worse and worse, I made a big discovery about clothes.
The clothes make the grandchild (It's really "The clothes make the man," but in this case, I'm using grandchild) [TN: "grandchild" and "man" are read the same way with different kanji, with the kanji for "man" in this phrase one that means "a person who carries things like a horse."]
Because I'm trying to climb the stairs of adults.
Wearing a "big size" peacoat to challenge the real thing.
I want to hurry and do the real thing.

It's not really any different from how it has been until now.
As always, I get on the train and went diligently.
It's almost time for the real thing.
I'm nervous.
Every day, the time passes very quickly.
I'll probably be in the state when the real thing comes, and then it'll be over before I know it.
Yeah...
It's kinda deep, but I can't stop thinking about this.
This whole "Bad thinking is like not thinking."
Anyway, I'll work hard on all the things I can still work on before the real thing.

Since we had the first day of the year off, I went to visit a shrine.
Last year, we even had practice on the first, so I couldn't go, but I felt bad afterwards, so I went this year.
Somehow, the idea of the new year, of a year that's just beginning, is inputted into your body and mind.
But, it doesn't really feel like it, huh?
With this and that, I'll wish that everyone has a wonderful year.
And please do the same for me.
My fortune was an iffy "small fortune."
Well, it's probably like that.
From what I think, it could become anything.
And with that, I'll work hard this year, too.

I'm going home from the rehearsal hall right now.
Because it's New Year's Eve, there were fewer people walking outside, and the trains are deserted.
Under the clear night sky, carrying my heavy practice bag and feeling the cold wind, I think back on this past year.
It was an amazingly good year.
With January's "Air Gear," March's "Mr. Very Good Man," May's "Air Gear Remix," August's "Umisho," October's "Suganarel" plays, movies, variety shows, radio, I experienced a lot.
From those experiences, I understood that it's not just work, but everything is related. And what's really important is that there are a lot of different shapes, but each person has a shape that no one else has.
Everyone has their own kind of "love," I think.
For me, when I'm acting, I'll run into lots of walls and carry my script with me on the train and to the rehearsal hall and think about it earnestly.
Comparing myself with the role, making the play my own, if I don't tackle the things with love, I won't be able to present it to the audience.
Even if you know the answer, if there's no process, it isn't actually the answer. But if you think about the answer wherever you go and worry over it, if there's a process that you labored over, even if the answer is the same as other people, the shape of it will definitely be different.
Isn't the power behind that motive "love"? I thought.
In next year's play, it'd be great if everyone could feel my love and that of the other cast members.
Last but not least, thank you so much for supporting me this year.
The letters and applause made me really happy.
I totally got a lot of power from them!

This year, with the four musicals and plays I was in, and the drama and birthday dinner party, I was really able to take part in a wide range of work.
I broke my arm and got to know pain--it was a big year.
In this way, I can think that I had a happy year, being able to do work because of the people on staff, my costars, family, friends, and fans. Really, thank you very much.

At the beginning of the year, my hair was so short.

I went to a bunch of plays.
About as much as a pudding (do you understand what I'm talking about?) is just right, isn't it?
But now, I'm in the middle of practicing standard Japanese.
Well, my roles speak standard Japanese.
My parents called me "gross" again.
Speaking of which, pops was really happy about the comments from everyone. [TN: I'm assuming "oton" is what he calls his dad... but I'm not sure... ^^;]

Today, in the middle of song practice for Blue Sheets, we had a coaching session. The coach was none other than the composer of the famous song "Confession [Kouhaku]," Takuya-san, a former member of Hysteric Blue.
I was really surprised!
It'd been what, four years?
He was still the same unique person, and remembered my name and everything. I was really happy.

It's the last spurt, and we've changed rehearsal spaces to a bigger place, and we're ripping it up.

Everyone has their own kind of "love," I think.
For me, when I'm acting, I'll run into lots of walls and carry my script with me on the train and to the rehearsal hall and think about it earnestly.
Comparing myself with the role, making the play my own, if I don't tackle the things with love, I won't be able to present it to the audience.
Even if you know the answer, if there's no process, it isn't actually the answer. But if you think about the answer wherever you go and worry over it, if there's a process that you labored over, even if the answer is the same as other people, the shape of it will definitely be different.
Isn't the power behind that motive "love"? I thought.
In next year's play, it'd be great if everyone could feel my love and that of the other cast members.

The curtain is falling on the big play that was this year. Let's have a standing ovation for 2007!
This year, with the four musicals and plays I was in, and the drama and birthday dinner party, I was really able to take part in a wide range of work.
I broke my arm and got to know pain--it was a big year.
In this way, I can think that I had a happy year, being able to do work because of the people on staff, my costars, family, friends, and fans. Really, thank you very much.

There are only 24 hours left in the year.
One year goes by really fast, doesn't it?
But an hour at work is really long, and an hour doing something you like to do is really short.
What is time, anyway? It's really strange.
'Cause you can't stop it, turn it back, or make it go faster.

It's a big problem, huh?
I've been thinking that a lot recently.
It's probably the last problem of the year, huh...

Kousuke - 2007/12/30 - Not much left. Well, two days.
It's surprising, wasn't it?
That there are only two days left in 2007.
A lot happened this year, too, huh.
We did Air Gear twice.
There was the novel. [TN: anyone know what novel he's talking about?]
I hadn't been in a drama in about a year.
At the beginning of the year, my hair was so short.
Ahh, now that I think of it, it's really gotten pretty long, huh, my hair.
I went to a bunch of plays.
About as much as a pudding (do you understand what I'm talking about?) is just right, isn't it?
But now, I'm in the middle of practicing standard Japanese.
Well, my roles speak standard Japanese.
My parents called me "gross" again.
Speaking of which, pops was really happy about the comments from everyone. [TN: I'm assuming "oton" is what he calls his dad... but I'm not sure... ^^;]

I got my hair permed and colored a color close to gold, but I couldn't get a good picture.

Kousuke - 2007/12/29 - Confession
Today, in the middle of song practice for Blue Sheets, we had a coaching session. The coach was none other than the composer of the famous song "Confession [Kouhaku]," Takuya-san, a former member of Hysteric Blue.
I was really surprised!
It'd been what, four years?
He was still the same unique person, and remembered my name and everything. I was really happy.
The Blue Sheets songs are really cool, so please look forward to them.

It's the last spurt, and we've changed rehearsal spaces to a bigger place, and we're ripping it up.
Well, I'm not sure if "ripping it up" is exactly right.
Anyway, it's far, so there's no way I can get there by road racer.
Train. I have to ride the train.
I don't really like the train very much...
Ah well, it's interesting to see what everyone's wearing.

We're finally saying goodbye to the rehearsal space where we were for about two weeks.
A lot has happened, but we're moving to a much bigger place.
The sets are steadily getting finished, we're working on the dances, and all that's left is to work hard on them.
Yeah.
On this day, I helped move one cardboard box.
