Wedding

Our wedding was at the lake house my parents inherited from my grandparents.

They both passed within the past few years. It's been nice for the family to have this lake house because my dad spent so much time there growing up and my family would go almost every summer.

What I love more than anything is that nothing has changed over the years. Little things like couches and mattresses, bedspreads, that sort of thing. But it is such a rustic cabin that when you walk in, it's like stepping into another world. I don't know how to explain it, but anthony had only been once before our wedding and he agreed that you can just feel the memories and positive energy. The lake is right our back and my parents had the small pier rebuilt exactly like the one my grandfather built in the 50's.

Anywho, it is in Alabama and it means so much to me that my friends and family traveled from other states just for us. It makes me want to pop just thinking about it. :) it was the wedding I've always wanted... not cliche!! Screw the wedding industry!! We had the best BBQ in town, a bunch of pies, red solo cups, an ugly green and white big tent (haha I'll post a picture... I loved it), paper plates, dancing & drinking! It was fantastic!

I love that green tent! We were going to get white but they didn't have it but this ended up being even better!
