What species is your character? Human! yes I know I'm surprised too
Would other characters be able to sense your character's species? Of course. It's not like he hides it. Just... makes it seem like he's not human with all of his talk.
Is there anything strange in your character's blood, DNA, etc that other characters might be able to sense? He's seriously freaking powerful, almost limitless that his power can be compared to a god.
What does your character's soul look like? This. (actually that's the manifestation of how the Dragons view Kamui, but logically speaking that may very will be what his soul is, and if his soul looks like that, "Kamui" being his twin star will have his look like that as well) But if the other Kamui is around, he would look like this instead, aka the real Kamui with angel's wings.
Is it possible to read anything from your character's soul? Not unless you're extremely powerful, and good at this kind of thing, and only then you can catch a glimpse of what his soul looks like. He has a built-in defense for this-- mainly static for passersby, and visions of deadly, dangerous DRAGONS when someone tries to poke and prod a little more. They can break your character's mind, and I don't mean that in the fun way. (again, those dragons are Kamui's but I am very sure "Kamui" has the same kind of thing as well)
What color is your character's soul? Crystal clear when it's crystal. The real Kamui's normal colors when in angel form.
Does your character have an ability that others might be able to sense? He's a psychic. No, really. He uses ESP to get by. But his wish-related ability will have to stay under wraps, because that kind of thing really cant be sensed.
Is your chararacter surrounded by something else that might somehow 'stick'? Static to keep intruders out :> There's also this sense of strangeness hanging around him and even though it weirds people out, they cant help but be interested in that kind of thing, whatever 'it' is.

Is it possible to communicate with your character through telepathy? As long as he trusts you enough to go mindlinking with him, yes. And by trust I mean you'll still have the usual barriers blocking you from the rest of his being, but have enough leeway to speak to him.
Is it possible to see what your character is doing through psychic powers? It all depends on what he's doing. He's very particular on what he does, and hardly anyone can keep track of him, with or without being able to sense him. Your best bet is to send me a note and I'll think it over.

Can your character be mind-controlled? Afraid not. He's far too powerful for that kind of thing, and he'll even notice when someone tries to poke around in him. The results wont be pleasant :T

Is there something specific that you don't want anyone to know about your character? That he's essentially a mirror to the real Kamui, and therefore he's channeling what Kamui cant show, aka all the darkest parts of his soul. Also, there's still a tidbit of "Fuuma" within "Kamui", and it pisses him off a bit whenever Kamui calls him "Fuuma", so... yeah.
How do you feel about threadjacking? Go for it!

Can your character be imprisoned? Explain why/why not/when is appropriate. Only when he's done something really horrible and out in the open. And if he really did it 8| Because he's not stupid enough to leave his tracks all over the place. Plus, he really has no reason to do shit when he's so far away from home-- no kekkai to break, so no trouble to make. He'll just be a kid who has the funkiest golden eyes and a funny way of talking. Look out for the weirdo!
Is it okay to approach you about hacking private threads? Alternatively, how technologically gifted is your character? He's from 1999. Technology wasn't at all that great... except BEAST. But I doubt "Kamui"'s ever gone and interfaced with the big thing, because it's Satsuki's. He knows the finer aspects of computers thanks to her though, but he's still an idiot at hacking and I don't even know if he can interface with technology the same way Satsuki can.
Has your character died before? Can other characters pick up on this? Nnnnope, he hasn't died.
Is it okay to kill your character, given the proper discussion/circumstances? ... We shall have to wait and see. Usually I'd say no, but it all depends on what exactly it is before I make the final decision.
SEX STUFF: I like porn, no lie. And canon throws us fangirls (and boys) all of the lovely fanservice we want (please see some of his icons for evidence). Even this lovely yet crazy bit of headcanon states that he's done it at least once with Kanoe after she shamelessly gave him a boobhug and with Kakyou in one of their dream meetings. But I'm not going to apply any of this into actual games, because it's not proven, and I know I'll be throttled for it. To that effect, "Kamui"'s virgin. He has the know-how, he's seen things like that (he's still a kid, man) and he wont deny it seems interesting.
But he'll only do it if he has good reason to aka he trusts the person not to kill him during sex, if someone's that attracted to him and wishes so fucking bad for it, or if he's the one who finds himself attracted. It's going to be a long shot, because he doesn't trust easily not because he's paranoid but because he's almost detached from humans outside of the whole wish and perception thing. tldr "Kamui" is hard to get. We can work for it, but it will take time and patience.
