Fanning things is what I do
When I posted that clip for Stargate Universe, I meant to add commentary but I was too tired to bother and edit the post, so I'm going to do that here. I'm going to have to say no to watching the show. After thinking about it, the universe of Stargate never was the draw for me, it was always about the characters. *Cough* John Sheppard: what, I can be shallow sometimes. And I'm just not interested in the show like that. I've never even really watched most of SGA, but the stories were so good that I was crazy about the fandom. So, there it is.
Heroes: Last night was almost a return to form of season 1 and that made me very happy. No longer did I need a caveat about watching the show after last night, and even if they don't get renewed past next season, if Fuller stays around, creating shows like that, then I will be so pleased.
Kings: the show that everyone should watch* I've already found some good fic for it and it makes my heart swell. Oh why did I end up looking for Kings fic and then being swallowed right back into SGA for a couple of hours? That's just the way it is. Not only is the fic coming out great, but the meta is PDA too. Bible meta. Just wow. Discussion or women roles. I love my new gay fandom. (one thing I love about fanning a show again is that there can be entire conversations about a character without feeling skeevy and having people chime at you these are real people you sick freak! )
Speaking of Kings, I meant to post my recap on Monday, but I didn't. So, I will probably do one later just so I can keep a record of my thoughts and theories.
Guys, I have a tab of a story open that I've been *reading* for 5 days now. It's taking me so long because I don't want it to end and it's just so good. It reconfirmed everything that I love about bandom and made me get that fluttery feeling of my initial bandom encounter. It's so awesome. I'm so happy to have read it, it is always leaving me with a smile when I look at it. Plus, it had one of the hottest Blow job scenes I have ever read.
