yay, yuletide!
Dear yuletide author,
YOU ARE AWESOME. Let's just get that out of the way first. Thank you so much for writing fic for me in one of my favorite obscure fandoms. Yay!
General stuff about my likes and dislikes in fic: dialogue, scenery and setting, character relationships--these are things that always make me happy in fic. Happy, bittersweet, comedic, poignant--I like all kinds of moods; if you want to experiment with style or point of view, that sounds good too. Really, so long as you're writing about these characters, I'm gonna be happy. I've got a major embarrassment squick, I'm not particularly interested in the pr0n (though, that said, I enjoy slash, het, and any combination thereof), but otherwise I'm pretty open. Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch
Would really like something Nightingale-focused--anytime during his life, before or after meeting Peter. (Bonus if it involves Dr. Walid, who seems an interesting character.)
Okay, I admit, Nightingale hits a lot of my kinks, including carrying a walking stick; and I have a thing about characters surviving (and thriving, though that might be debatable with Nightingale) outside their own time. Reading something from his perspective would be cool (including about Peter, if you wanted to write about after PC Grant started being his apprentice). Gen please, unless you felt like writing Nightingale/OFC or Nightingale/OMC.
Benjamin January Mysteries - Barbara Hambly
HANNIBAL. Something involving music, his violin, playing with January--anything along those lines would be awesome.
OMG Hannibal Sefton might hit even more of my kinks than Nightingale. I really would enjoy something from his perspective about his friendship with Ben, but if you wanted to write about before he met January, or before he came to New Orleans, that would be awesome too. Again, gen please, unless you're writing Hannibal/OFC or Hannibal/OMC.

Honestly, I would sort of love either something involving Myka/Helena, or focusing on the friendship between Claudia and Jinks, but really, any fic in this fandom involving our team would make me happy.
YAY, TEAM pretty much sums up my response to this show, and I would be so pleased to receive any fic in this fandom. The Myka/Helena relationship fascinates me (and I definitely fall on the slashy side on that one), I love the sibling-like relationship between Claudia & Jinks or the father-daughter-like relationship between Claudia & Artie, Pete-and-Myka-as-friends-and-partners rocks my world, the entire squabbling and dysfunctional but loving family dynamic they all have with each other...yeah, seriously, YAY, TEAM.
A Gifted Man
Rita KICKS ARSE and deserves to have fic on that subject. Or any subject, really; the more I see of her, the more I love her.
I started watching this show purely for the actor recognition, but I've really grown to enjoy all the characters, Rita especially. There are not enough older, larger women holding their own on tv, and Rita has become beautifully well-rounded in a short time.
