A very confused extroverted introvert. Or introverted extrovert?

(But first, there is somebody in the nearby at my apartment complex playing a horn--a sax?--just goofing around, warming up, but it is still happy-making. I think I would marry a busker, just so they could play down the street from where I live ( Read more... )

:::hugs:::: Being an introvert in and extroverted culture is frelling hard. Sometimes people are surprised when I say I'm an introvert....what you've said here fits perfectly for how I respond. Being a good actor means surviving when all one wants to do is go home and be in stillness and quiet.

*more hugs*

PS. Hopefully this makes sense. ;)

It very definitely makes sense, and I knew I was not the only one around who responded like this, but it's still good to have outside confirmation. :) (I DON'T HAVE TO GO ANYWHERE TONIGHT. I plan to veg. And bake. Yeah.)

Cool, and I feel the same way, it's very nice to have this point of view recognized. Sometimes It's hard to be that far out of the so called norm. Although, some days it's quite nice. ;)

As for going places, I'll visit with my mother on Saturday, then a local antiques guy I've known for years through his fabulous store (OMG you will love this place when you come to visit, museum quality to yard sale stuff) will stop by Sunday so I can get an insurance estimate for a few items from our family place and my mother's desk. Other than that, it's a PJ weekend all the way!

Haha, I didn't roll out of bed until almost 11 this morning. SUCCESS.

Sometimes I wish I was a bit more normal, and then most of the time I'm quite glad I'm not as even then I don't think I'd fit in the way I'd feel I should.

I still need to figure out when I can visit. I feel like I should come in the fall next year, for the colors. :) (I've seen the pic you sent of your new place, by the way--yay! I'm so glad for you!)

Normal is highly over-rated. ;)

I was up at 6:15am. Seriously....but then I plotzed with the cat, did almost the last of the pre-move shopping for stuff, and went to have lunch with my mother. Now I'm already in my PJs. Heh.

I recommend Fall or Spring for a visit, although I will have seen a Fall at the new place, I'm guessing spring will be fine as well. It's such a lovely spot, I'm very lucky to have stumbled on it after they dropped the price. That shot is a rather narrow perspective. After the closing I'll take some better ones from the patio or balcony with my real camera. And thank you...am quite happy and nattering on a bit.
