DW: "A Good Man Goes to War"

The beauty of being completely unspoiled for everything ever: I rolled my eyes when the Cybermen showed up, kinda loved that Amy was, indeed, talking about her husband (though also rolled my eyes at the fake-out about who-does-she-mean?! once AGAIN) and that Rory just stormed in wearing his centurion outfit and handled it all with brilliant aplomb. And then the other races and species just kept showing up. (Why is the Silurian chick awake and on the surface in the 1880s? The Sontaran nurse! Awesomeness!)

Also, did anyone else really, really wish Ioan Grufford had shown up in the Zorasthura battle scene? Or was that just my own Age of Sail kink jumping in a little too much?

Okay, I really like the CO dude the instant he discharges his weapon pack. (I question whether the Doctor knew the CO would do something like that in order to stop the instantaneous riot he created there.) And yes, he regained control of his people...at the expense of disarming them. So maybe the Doctor knew exactly what he was doing there after all.

"I'm angry, that's new." The really brilliant bit there is actually his face right after he says that, all crumpled and biting-lip and about ready to cry because, yes, it's anger and it's new and he doesn't quite know how to handle that emotion. (And, yeah, the anger isn't really new, he's been angry loads of times before for loads of different reasons, but this is Eleven and Eleven is still learning himself.)

...and I fell apart the instant Rory walked into the room holding Melody. "Oh god, I was going to be cool." I LOVE YOU, WILLIAMS-PONDSES. I LOVE YOU DUDES.

"You are a warrior." "No, I'm a nurse." Which again makes me wonder if the good man going to war is really the Doctor, or Rory, or both of 'em.

I...might be disappointed about River? Because it was sort of an obvious choice to make? And now I have to rewatch her eps again from last series with this information to see how she interacts with Amy?
