Because I don't do them very often, I haven't been saying much lately due to the sudden eruption of EVERYTHING in my life, and because I'm not that capable of stringing two original thoughts together at the moment.

1. People who have been tagged must write the answers on their blog and replace any question they dislike with a new, original question.
2. Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you. (deal with it, I'm not tagging anyone. Free for all!)
1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up.
* Pictures of family & friends
* Issues of American Archivist
* Monitor to my old desktop that I should probably just dispose of since I never use it anymore
* Junk mail. Oh gods, so much junk mail.
* Scanner
2. How do you style your hair?
I wash it, I comb it, I put gunk on it. And voila! I love my hair.
3. What US city would you most want to live in (not taking into account where your family lives)?
I could possibly do Kansas City. I might try St. Louis, if I could live in the right neighborhood. I'm curious about Indianapolis. Um. Apparently I am thoroughly enmeshed in the Midwest???
4. What's your dream occupation (even if its staying at home)?
...Er, I think it might be working in a museum of some kind in the UK. WTF?
5. Favorite animated Disney movie?
Aladdin. Wall-E is second.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
Er, one of my co-workers, actually, I think, who just came back to work part-time after retiring.
7. What is/was for dinner?
Veggie burger & onion rings. Possibly an orange, if I can find the energy to get at the stuff inside the rind. (ETA: I ate the orange. By cutting it in wedges. We'll call it a draw.)
8. What did you do today?
I did not work out because I was up too late last night BUYING TICKETS TO BELGIUM (it was frantic, I tell you, what with the texting and chatting and Facebooking each other to make sure we got the right flights & right seats). I went to work, I looked at some records, I went to an archivists' meeting in a city 90 minutes away, I came back to work, I arranged three interviews next week out of six for the admin assistant position we're hiring. Tra lah lah. Oh, and then I booked a fight to Seattle, and I still need to book a flight to Chicago, and OMG I'm so looking forward to watching tv and going to bed tonight.
9. Dog person or cat person?
BOTH. So fricking there. Or neither, since I have neither and kinda prefer not having to clean up puke and litter boxes.
10. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
M.D. Wilson.
11. What color/pattern are the linens on your bed?
Right now, green. I could do flowery or purple, if I wanted.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
...everywhere? Start with Europe and Australia, do some massive road-tripping about the United States and Canada, head down to Mexico and maybe further south, go to Egypt and other portions of the Middle East...I'd like to get to Antarctica. Just to say I did.
13. Favorite band/musician?
Of all time, or right now? Because of all time--crap. Either the Beatles or Dean Martin. Right now, um, I have no idea, I'm listening to a lot of different people right now.
14. Favorite books?
Dead and Buried by Barbara Hambly just broke me, guys. Seriously, I was crying in an airport.
15. What are you doing this weekend?
Going to visit aunts, doing some shopping, sleeping, either working out and/or taking a walk, laundry, watching some telly, reading, oh yeah, I've got to look at some guidelines on deaccessioning and reappraisal...oh, and I need to record some lines for an audio play. Woo. (the key thing here is I GET TO SLEEP THIS WEEKEND.)
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
Guitar. Or maybe flute. Or sax? Clarinet? Let's stick to the piano.
17. Who are you, Arthur Dent or Ford Prefect?
There are days it's all I can do to get out of the bathrobe.
18. If you could travel in time, would you do it? And when would you go?
I still think I would go to the year 1966. All my grandparents were alive except for one, all my aunts and uncles were alive, my mom might not have met my dad yet if it were before the fall...yes, I would like to stalk my family.
(Alternatively, I'll just hijack the TARDIS and go everywhen.)
19. What are you looking forward to the most?
Sleeeeeeeep. And various trips I'll be taking this year. And possibly getting a social life that is more than it is now. Mostly, having fun. FUN, I tell you.
