apparently, a fannish outpouring

Um, um, Hardison melding his computer skills with 18th century printing techniques and being overawed by his own ability to do so in approximately 24 hours? Is kinda hot. No, no, ridiculously hot. It should not be but omg so is. YOU GO, ALEC HARDISON. And feel free to wear sleeveless shirts more often, mkay?

Also, Parker licked the statuary. Why do I feel like she and the Doctor would get along well?

I have in the past few days finally seen both Sherlock and the Paul Gross movie Gunless. Somehow, I don't think those two things really fit in the same sentence together.

Stephen Moffat is too...self-aware?...for his own good. Meta? It shows up in a lot of his shows, like too much hanging the lantern or something. I'm not explaining it very well. But I really enjoy Martin Freeman as Watson (with his sister called Harry, about whom I want more), and that Sherlock is rather young--and that everyone calls him Sherlock (and his brother Mycroft, and yay for screwed-up sibling relationships)--and I enjoy the actor who played Lestrade (even if I can't remember the actor's name and am being lazy again, when I have no excuse for being lazy with IMDB literally at my fingertips), when he's not playing evil bastards. Also, the ending of the third episode. AWESOME.

CANADIAN WEST. So ridiculously fun, and it's a community, and they're all so terribly matter-of-fact. And the Mounties! Especially the corporal guy who lost his horse! And Jack the incredibly tall blacksmith! The trio with the rifles fanboying the Montana Kid! Every single one of them, fantastic characters. And the outtakes during the credits = also hilarious. Yay.

crossovers yay, dw, fandom, canadians rock, leverage
