I listened to "Zero Point" (Atlantis audio read by Zelenka David Nykl) today.
RAAAAADEK. He got to be the hero again! And swear in Czech a whole lot! (I seriously wonder what the hell he was muttering all those times.) And Nykl cannot imitate David Hewlett the way Frazer Hines can imitate Pat Troughton, so instead he imitated Rodney the way Zelenka would, changing the pitch of his voice to something much higher and still saying what McKay would say, and it was hilarious. (Best bit was probably Rodney's "Skin turning blue, going to call my sister--" bit over the radio when Radek was trying to get him to pay attention and help. Hearing Zelenka say these things as Rodney made it that much more awesome.) I thoroughly enjoyed that for all the above shallow reasons, though the plot was good too.
In conclusion, Zelenka rocks. The end. Tomorrow I shall listen to "Shell Game" finally. Yay.
