[Spoilers for EDA business...if you don't read the books or don't want to know...spack off?]
Alright, query: so what the fuckety fuck is up with the whole heart business in the EDAs?
It doesn't help that I read Adventuress ages ago and promptly forgot most of it anyway, and that was one of the last EDAs I read before the whole US suppplier thing, and before the whole "textbooks are more important than importing books from Britain, dearie" thing. But then my roomie was in Scotland in the fall and I asked her to pick up a couple books for me while she was there, including Lloyd Rose's latest, which I just finished now because it took me a while to get around to reading the books and I'm a slow reader apparently anyway.
And again, what the fuckety fuck is *up* with the whole damned heart business?! You don't just bloody take somebody's heart out and put it in somebody else! I'd say it was all metaphorical, but it seemed pretty damned literal to me. And then the Doc's line at the end, about growing a new one? Argh!
I've got Time Zero to read, and hopefully I'll be getting more since they've apparently figured out the whole US supplier thing (unless of course I just spend all my money on the audio adventures anyway, which is a distinct possibility--Michael Praed? A 6th/7th Doc story? Ooooh). But I feel like I'm wandering around lost in the middle of Farscape's 3rd season or something.
Oh yes. For some reason it irks me every time the Doctor swears. "Stop that, damn you!" I holler, prompting my roomie to smirk at me again. Sigh.
